Payable Accountant – Ready Mix Company

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payable Accountant to join our Ready Mix company. The ideal candidate should have experience handling supplier invoices, LPO/GRN matching, fuel & transport expenses, and monthly closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices (materials, fuel, spare parts, etc.).
• Match invoices with LPOs, delivery notes, and GRNs.
• Prepare payment vouchers and process payments as per credit terms.
• Maintain supplier aging reports and perform monthly vendor reconciliations.
• Manage petty cash expenses and verify employee claims.
• Record fuel, diesel, and transport-related expenses for mixers, pumps, and plant vehicles.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement for materials and cost accuracy.
• Assist in month-end closing and ensure VAT-compliant documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of UAE experience in Accounts Payable (Ready Mix / Construction preferred).
• Good knowledge of VAT and accounting principles.
• Strong Excel and ERP software skills.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
