Job Overview

Astra is a U.S.-based fintech infrastructure company that provides payment APIs and money movement solutions for businesses. We enable fintech's, financial institutions, and software platforms to build secure, scalable payment experiences without having to develop complex banking infrastructure from scratch. 

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payment Operations Specialist to join our growing team remotely. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of all payment transactions. You will be a key member of the team that forms the backbone of our service, guaranteeing the reliability and integrity of our money movement solutions. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for operational excellence within the financial technology landscape.

Responsibilities
Monitor daily payment transactions (ACH, wire transfers, card payments)

Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies

Process refunds, chargebacks, and settlements

Maintain accurate and organized transaction records

Collaborate with customer support, compliance, and product teams

Assist with reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements

Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Must have a clean criminal record

Must be 18+

Knowledge in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
