What You’ll Do:

Process and balance the daily share draft files (including corporate checks), returned check deposits, and related cash letter adjustments.

Review Large Dollar Return Item Notifications placing appropriate holds, monitoring for fraud, and identifying high risk activity.

Process all deposit additions, domestic, and foreign collection items.
-
Oversee member share draft orders and reconcile weekly invoices.
-
Investigate member research requests, making necessary account and Federal Reserve adjustments.

Post and balance mail payments/deposits and remit via branch capture to create electronic cash letter.
-
Assist with other Payment Services functions as needed.

Complete special projects as assigned by AVP of Payment Services.

Deliver high level of quality service (both internally and externally), including timely and professional responses.

Job Education and Experience Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
12 months’ financial institution experience, to include working knowledge of deposit product regulations and guidelines.
Preferred Education, Certifications, & Experience (in addition to above):
-
2 year college or technical degree in a business related discipline
-
Proven decision making skills
Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:

Customer service skills
- Knowledge of negotiable instrument laws and bank regulations

Basic accounting skills, including by not limited to maintaining and balancing GLs

Advanced computer and technology related skills (MS Word & Excel)

Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
