The Role

You will monitor deposits and withdrawals, investigate failed or delayed transactions, work directly with PSPs, banks, and internal teams, and help keep payment flows stable, secure, and scalable across fiat and crypto rails. In parallel, you will contribute to the way the payments function is built: operating processes, internal documentation, fraud controls, escalation logic, and the interaction model between Operations, Risk, Finance and Customer Support.

We are looking for the candidate who is able to push issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

1. Payments and Operations

1.1. Monitor deposit, withdrawal, refund, and reversal flows across fiat and crypto payment methods.

1.2. Ensure accurate and timely withdrawal processing within internal SLAs, including manual reviews, exceptions, and escalations.

1.3. Track payment KPIs (approval rates, declines, payout speed, cashier conversion, failed withdrawals, refunds) and investigate transaction issues through to resolution.

1.4. Participate with the reconciliation team in reconciling transaction data across PSPs, banks, wallets, custodians, and internal systems.

1.5. Support Finance with settlement validation, fee checks, balance tracking, and daily payment controls.

2. Payment Orchestration

2.1. Manage operational communication with PSPs, banks, gateways, acquirers, and crypto processing partners.

2.2. Configure and optimize payment orchestration logic in Praxis Tech, PaymentIQ, or similar platforms (routing, cascading, failover, limits, provider rules).

2.3. Support launches of new payment methods, providers, currencies, and GEO-specific cashier setups.

2.4. Coordinate investigations of settlement failures, missing callbacks/webhooks, stuck payouts, and other technical payment issues together with the IT team.

2.5. Monitor provider performance and recommend improvements to approval rates, reliability, and cost efficiency.

3. Risk, Fraud, and Crypto Controls

3.1. Monitor payment activity and player behaviour for fraud patterns, including multi-accounting, bonus abuse, account takeover, payment-method abuse, and withdrawal fraud.

3.2. Participate in developing fraud-detection methodologies, risk policies, velocity checks, approval tiers, and escalation logic.

3.3. Monitor crypto transactions using tx hashes, block explorers, wallet-screening and transaction monitoring tools; investigate crypto-processing issues.

3.4. Support dispute and chargeback handling for non-crypto payment methods where applicable.

4. Customer Communication and Support

4.1. Communicate with players via email and Customer Support channels regarding payment related issues.

4.2. Define and maintain workflows between Payments, Customer Support, PSPs, and other internal teams.

4.3. Train Customer Support teams on payment-related cases and escalation procedures.

5. Process Design and Reporting

5.1. Participate in building payment operations processes and internal documentation.

5.2. Define requirements for risk-management tools and services for the IT team.

5.3. Prepare management reporting on payment performance, fraud trends, incidents, and operational KPIs.

5.4. Identify workflow gaps, propose process improvements, and participate in incident reviews and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payments operations/antifraud/risk in iGaming or similar operations
  • Experience with crypto processing, crypto cashier operations, or blockchain-based payment flows.
  • Solid understanding of payment flows across cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, PSPs, and alternative payment methods.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with reconciliations, operational reporting, and transaction-level data.
  • English level - C1

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong mathematical background and analytical mindset.

2. Practical understanding of crypto operations, including block explorers, wallet screening, sanctions exposure, network fees, congestion, and wrong-network/wrong-memo scenarios.
