Picture a new hire’s first week: paperwork finished without friction, orientation delivered with clarity, and their first paycheck landing exactly as expected. That precision starts with you—maintaining accurate records, coordinating interviews, answering policy and benefits questions, and ensuring our labor reports match the general ledger.

Core responsibilities

• Own payroll processing to ensure on-time, error-free pay for all employees.
• Manage employee files and keep practices aligned with labor laws and regulations.
• Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs and arranging interview schedules.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding, including orientations and exit interviews.
• Provide responsive guidance on HR policies, benefits, and payroll inquiries.
• Partner on the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits across payroll and benefits to safeguard data integrity.
• Compile labor reporting and reconcile results to the general ledger.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration.
• Strong command of payroll applications and HRIS systems.
• Impeccable organization and attention to detail.
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Trusted to manage confidential information appropriately.
• General accounting proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is advantageous.
