Longacre Asset Management is a joint venture of PH Realty Capital and Rockledge CRE. We are a NYC-based real estate investor and operator. Longacre is a 75+ person, vertically integrated operating and development company. The Longacre platform manages over 93 commercial real estate properties and investments with an aggregate asset value of approximately $1.2 billion as of December 31, 2024. We are entrepreneurial, nimble, and hungry for further growth. This Human Resources role will span not just our real estate business but also other subsidiaries in a variety of industries. No industry specific experience is required but real estate industry experience is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversee all periodic payroll processes (you will manage at least one specific resource in the course of completing this task).
  • Interface with CFO on cash management issues as it pertains to payroll
  • Oversee periodic updates to Employee handbooks.
  • Oversee the management of and tracking of all Paid Time Off, including the policies therein.
  • Processing and maintaining payroll accounts with vendors.
  • Handle benefits vendors and passing along payables in a timely manner.
  • Oversee all onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Maintain and organize sensitive employment documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with all Labor Laws (for example, Labor law posters).

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
  • Preferred 5-15 years of experience.
  • You should have experience overseeing payroll and benefits in general.
  • No industry specific experience is required but real estate industry experience is preferred and will be treated favorably.
  • High level of professionalism, maturity and superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent work ethic and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently to and within established timeframes.
  • Excel Proficiency.
  • PowerPoint Proficiency.
  • Written Communication: Writing is clear, concise and drives understanding of the topic at hand. Can independently write memos.
