Payroll Bookkeeper

Process payroll for all district employees in accordance with established schedules and procedures. Maintain accurate payroll records, including salaries, supplements, deductions, benefits, and leave balances. Verify employee time records and reconcile discrepancies with school administrators or supervisors. Maintain and process employee experience as well as employee deductions such as taxes, retirement contributions, insurance premiums, and garnishments. Assist with the preparation and filing of required payroll reports. Respond to employee inquiries relative to insurance and payroll as requested. Assist with year-end payroll processing including W-2 preparation. Obtain Payroll Certification through AASBO and maintain said certification. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.

Other duties as may be assigned by the CSFO.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional training in bookkeeping skills is preferred

Proficient with NextGen software preferred

12-month contract

March 19, 2026, through April 2, 2026, or until filled.
