Position Overview:
A Payroll Assistant role that blends Labor Law Compliances and payroll processing with soft operational tasks. Key duties include managing payroll, ensuring legal and statutory compliance (EPF, ESIC, Gratuity), handling related employee records, preparing invoices from payrolls, and coordinating with HR & Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Payroll Management (accurate and timely)
- Generate invoices/bills based on created payrolls
- Manage EPF, ESIC & Gratuity filings and compliance documentation
- Update and maintain labor law and tax knowledge
- Respond to employee queries (payroll, deductions, benefits)
- Maintain employee compensation and statutory records
- Coordinate with HR & Finance for variable pay components
- Assist with payroll-related reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Track labor law/regulation changes impacting payroll
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree (HR or related)
- 5+ experience in payroll management
- Proficient in EPF,ESIC & Gratuity compliance & tax deductions
- MS Office & Payroll tools proficiency
- Strong communication and confidentiality handling
- Ability to maintain high accuracy and detail orientation
- Knowledge in Data Analytics preferred
Preferred Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel expertise
- Payroll certification/training (preferred)
- Familiarity with Govt portals (EPF, ESIC, Gratuity, tax etc)
- GeM portal experience a plus

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
