We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Full-Time Payroll Coordinator to support our department. This role is ideal for someone who is organized and interested in gaining experience in payroll. The Payroll Coordinator will assist with full-cycle payroll processing, employee timecard review, and recordkeeping to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of employee timecards and payroll data.
  • Enter and update employee information in payroll systems.
  • Review timesheets for accuracy, ensuring hours and approvals are correct.
  • Respond to employee questions about entry time, pay periods, or paychecks.
  • Maintain payroll records and files in compliance with company policies.
  • Support payroll team with audits, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with distribution of paychecks or pay stubs, if applicable.
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Maintain payroll records in accordance with company standards and confidentiality requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of multi-state payroll laws

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of high-volume payroll experience required
  • Multi-state payroll required
  • HR and Accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prior office or administrative experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
