Job Summary

InTouch Medical Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator to manage payroll operations while supporting core HR functions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with labor regulations, and a positive employee experience across the organization.

The ideal candidate is dependable, confidential, and comfortable balancing payroll responsibilities with HR administration in a fast-paced healthcare marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain payroll records, including hours, PTO, deductions, and benefits changes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
  • Coordinate payroll taxes, filings, and year-end reporting (W-2s, etc.)
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
  • Work closely with finance to reconcile payroll reports

Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment changes
  • Ensure HR compliance with labor laws, company policies, and healthcare-related requirements
  • Support performance review cycles, policy updates, and internal HR communications
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR questions

Compliance & Confidentiality

  • Handle sensitive employee and payroll data with strict confidentiality
  • Support compliance with HIPAA-related workforce policies where applicable
  • Follow internal controls, audit standards, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll and/or human resources
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and labor laws
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in healthcare, medical marketing, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and employee relations
  • Experience supporting multi-department or growing organizations
