Position: Administrative & Finance Specialist (Underground Cable Construction Industry)
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional to join our team in the underground cable and fiber construction industry. This role focuses on administrative management, financial oversight, payroll operations, and basic legal/compliance support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process payroll accurately and on time
Maintain organized and up-to-date administrative and employee records
Track and analyze company finances, including profits and losses
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Assist with legal and compliance matters, including contracts, documentation, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate and maintain records related to permits, agreements, and legal documentation
Develop and improve administrative processes (Excel, reporting, automation tools)
Support day-to-day administrative operations related to field projects
Requirements:
Background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Experience handling payroll, financial records, and administrative processes
Basic knowledge of legal documentation and compliance processes
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to track expenses, revenue, and generate financial reports
Experience with Excel (advanced level preferred) and administrative systems
Knowledge of labor laws and compliance practices
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
Construction, underground utilities, or telecommunications (fiber installation, drops, etc.)
Additional Information:
We are open to hiring one or two candidates depending on experience level.
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
