Duties

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UKG, UltiPro, Kronos, or Ceridian to ensure employees are paid accurately and on schedule Oversee payroll-related data entry tasks with precision using accounting software like QuickBooks or similar tools
• Conduct analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors; implement corrective actions promptly
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes related to payroll expenses and reimbursements
• Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures; train staff on payroll system functionalities when necessary

Requirements

• Strong understanding of payroll management principles combined with knowledge of accounting concepts including general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or comparable financial tools; experience with data entry and bookkeeping is essential
• Familiarity with benefits administration processes and tax regulations affecting payroll operations
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex payroll data accurately
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across HR and finance teams
• Technical proficiency in HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft or Ceridian; experience with timekeeping systems like UKG is a plus
• Attention to detail in handling sensitive employee information while adhering to confidentiality standards
