We are seeking a high-caliber Payroll Manager to lead our compensation and benefits department.
In this role, you aren’t just "processing checks." You are the guardian of our team’s morale and the expert navigator of Qatar’s regulatory landscape. You will ensure that our diverse workforce is rewarded accurately, transparently, and on time, every time.
Your Mission
- WPS Expert: Lead the end-to-end payroll process via the Wage Protection System (WPS), ensuring seamless coordination with the Ministry of Labor and local banks.
- End-of-Service Mastery: Calculate and manage End of Service Benefits (EOSB) and leave encashments in strict accordance with the Qatar Labor Law.
- Audit & Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with local statutory requirements and internal audit standards, ensuring all payroll records are airtight.
- Total Rewards Coordination: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including housing allowances, transport, and insurance premiums.
- System Ownership: Manage and optimize our Payroll/HRIS software, ensuring data integrity and exploring automation to reduce manual processing.
- Reporting: Provide the Finance and HR leadership with detailed monthly payroll analysis, headcount reporting, and budget variance insights.
The Profile We’re Looking For
- Experience: 7+ years in Payroll or Finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in Logistics, Postal Services, or high-volume Retail is a major plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
- Legal Expertise: A deep, current understanding of Qatar Labor Law and the latest WPS protocols.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in ERP or specialized Payroll software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Integrity: Unwavering commitment to confidentiality and ethical data handling.
- Communication: Strong English communication skills (Arabic proficiency is a highly valued asset for dealing with local authorities).
