About the Role
The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing and processing employee payroll accurately and on time in accordance with Kuwait Labor Law and company policies. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, maintains payroll records, and serves as a key point of contact for employee payroll-related matters.
Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines for all employees

Calculate salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, commissions, and deductions

Ensure compliance with Kuwait Labor Law and relevant regulations

Manage statutory deductions and contributions, including:

Social Security contributions (Public Institution for Social Security – PIFSS)

End-of-Service Benefits (EOSB) calculations
-
Maintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, resignations, terminations, salary adjustments, and promotions

Coordinate with HR to ensure employee data, leave balances, and attendance records are accurate
-
Prepare payroll reports, bank transfer files, and salary schedules
-
Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies professionally and confidentially

Support payroll audits and provide required documentation

Ensure payroll data confidentiality and data security at all times

Assist with final settlement calculations, including EOSB, unused leave, and deductions

Liaise with Finance for payroll reconciliation and accounting entries
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field

Minimum 2–5 years of payroll experience, preferably within Kuwait
-
Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law, PIFSS regulations, and EOSB calculations

Experience with payroll software and HR systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll-related tools
