Payroll & Payable Specialist

Medical Management Resources, Inc., a provider of medical billing services has been servicing the healthcare industry for almost 40 years! We are a proud employer of the finest individuals in the business of medicine and we are recruiting a full-time Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to work in our Finance Department. This position is responsible for all accounting functions for the company’s administrative/bookkeeping client such as client invoicing, payroll processing, AP, AR, general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of GAAP and payroll law; elementary knowledge of human resource management practices and principles; the ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidences; the ability to analyze data relating to payroll, AP, AR and client and vendor contracts; and the ability to plan and prioritize work.

Candidates must have strong computer skills and attention to detail, excellent communication & organization skills! Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.

Education & Experience: Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of Payroll and Accounting work/related work experience.

This position may be performed on-site full time or offers a combination of both in the office and remote work at home.
