POSITION OVERVIEW: Provides accounting/onboarding support and all payroll functions.
This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week.
RELATIONSHIPS: Does not supervise other employees.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
· Prepares, ensures accuracy, and submits in a timely manner the final payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
· Receives and compiles all bi-weekly and quarterly payroll reports.
· Responsible for posting positions and reviewing applications received.
· Schedules and conducts new employee orientations and ensures all required background checks are performed, drug testing is scheduled and payroll documentation completed as required by law.
· Oversees employee benefits and helps evaluate benefit renewals during annual open enrollment.
· Maintains and reconciles PTO, sick, and other paid time off for each employee and assists with accrued PTO and other payroll journal entries in QuickBooks.
· Serves as the primary contact for payroll and benefits inquiries.
· Verify all HR/payroll related invoices
· Maintains and routinely reviews employee personnel files to ensure completion and accuracy.
· Provides support with answering phones and greeting guests
· Works with Finance Department to ensure funding accuracy
· Other duties as assigned.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
· May assist other members of the Sunrise staff if needed.
· Assists with grant backup documentation prior to filing monthly grant invoices.
· May issues monthly employee mileage and reimbursement checks and other checks as approved by the Director of Finance.
· Provides support for community awareness and fundraising events.
· Provides support during end of fiscal year and contract year grant close-outs.
· Assists the Director of Finance with annual auditing preparation.
· Provides support to the Director of Finance during any agency accreditation monitoring or site visits.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
