About Us

NRG Management is a rapidly growing healthcare organization supporting substance abuse and mental health treatment centers across multiple states. We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Specialist to support our expanding workforce and ensure accurate, compliant payroll operations.

Position Overview

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing high-volume, multi-state payroll in a fast-paced, corporate environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience working within large organizations, and the ability to manage payroll processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for a multi-state employee population
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
• Manage payroll tax compliance across multiple states
• Handle garnishments, benefit deductions, and payroll adjustments
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and audit employee payroll data in Paycom
• Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee records and reporting
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a large corporate or multi-entity organization
• Strong experience with multi-state payroll processing
• Hands-on experience with Paycom (highly preferred) or similar systems (ADP, Workday)
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Advanced attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
