Full Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our home care agency. This role is responsible for processing caregiver payroll, ensuring accuracy of timekeeping, and maintaining compliance with home care and labor regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll for home health aides (HHAs) and staff
- Review and verify timesheets through EVV systems
- Ensure accuracy of hours, overtime, and pay rates
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Coordinate with HR, scheduling, and finance departments
- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience (home care or healthcare preferred)
- Knowledge of payroll systems and timekeeping processes
- Experience with EVV systems and caregiver payroll
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a home care agency
- Expert knowledge of HHAeXchange and VIVENTIEM
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing and compliance
- Bilingual in any language but must be proficient in English
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
- $22 – $25.00 per hour
- Based on experience
