Payroll/AP Specialist

In 2024, the company joined the Wistron Corporation for its expertise in manufacturing high-quality, complex products for the domestic market. As a global leader in AI, 5G, IoT, metaverse applications, electric vehicles, and Industry 4.0 automation, the company has invested millions to upgrade IT infrastructure, equipment, and automation at a new 126,000 sq. ft., ISO 8 particle controlled, Fremont, CA facility. The Payroll/AP Specialist reports to the Accounting Manager at WisLab EMS, providing comprehensive Accountings Payable and Payroll support.

Payroll

  • Handle Bi-weekly and on-demand payroll processing including data collections, system maintenance, data entry, paycheck distribution, and filing, maintains Paid Time Off (PTO) information and other management reports.
  • Process New Hire Information into HCM and Payroll Database.
  • Provide support payroll related services to employees and supervisors.
  • Work with HR Team to ensure correct benefit deductions are entered.
  • Reconcile the payroll with various transactions: Bank and 401k transmissions.
  • Allocate post payroll activities to the correct departments and divisions.
  • Other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Accounts Payable

  • Assist in accounts payable activities.
  • Enter and code vendor bills accurately in SAP and EXP.
  • Match each bill entered in SAP to the vendor's paper PDF invoice before payment.
  • Maintain organized vendor files and records
  • Track bills and due dates.
  • Support the accounting team with month-end closing process.
  • Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Required
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in the core AP and Payroll functions above.
  • Experience in SAP and EXP Required. Paycom preferred.
  • Expert level in Excel and other MS Office Products.
  • Prior experience in a fast and high growth tech manufacturing environment preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred for communication with Global HQ.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 per year
