Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and assisted living facilities. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort, and assisting with daily activities while adhering to safety and health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide support in medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Maintain patient hygiene and assist with mobility needs.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (e.g., Axxess Home Care).
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in training sessions and continuing education to enhance skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred (e.g., home health, senior care).
- Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Certification as Personal Care Assistant

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
