PCA Personal Care Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / PCA/ Med Tech
Summary: Administers medications in accordance with state guidelines and facility policies and procedures by performing the following duties. Ensures the day-to-day operations of the facility and reports directly to the administrator and/or property manager by performing the following duties.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software and spreadsheet software.

Certificates and Licenses:

· Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification- will be given after starting the job

· Medication aide written exam- not essential

· 15 hour medication aide class- not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• med tech license (Preferred)
