Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide exceptional patient-centered care across various healthcare settings. This role involves supporting patients with daily activities, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, or home care, and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation, and patient safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

Direct Client Care

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and fall-prevention techniques.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Assist with skin care, including lotion application and monitoring for breakdown.
• Perform meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders.
• Daily logging

Supportive Care Duties

• Light housekeeping (client-specific): linens, laundry, tidying, sanitation.
• Monitor and report changes in physical or cognitive status to management.
• Maintain accurate, timely care notes per UCHS policy.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures.

Professionalism & Standards

• Represent UCHS with professionalism, compassion, and reliability.
• Uphold all confidentiality, HIPAA, and compliance expectations.
• Maintain respectful communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Adhere to schedules, agency protocols, and mandatory reporting requirements.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
