PCB Design Engineer

Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic circuits according to specifications.

Work with schematic diagrams and convert them into manufacturable PCB designs.

Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and proper component placement.

Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize designs for performance and cost.

Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and generate Gerber files for manufacturing.

Troubleshoot and modify existing PCB designs as required.

Maintain documentation and BOM (Bill of Materials) for all designs.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit design.

Knowledge of multilayer PCB design, high-speed design practices, and EMI/EMC considerations.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and datasheets.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

Prior experience in PCB design is preferred but not mandatory for junior roles.
