PCB Quality Control Receiving Inspector

Description:

Performs a variety of functions related to shipping and receiving as dictated by company procedures. Ideal candidate will package ESD sensitive products to customers in a timely manner. This is a Monday through Friday position from 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Principle duties:

o Use care to inspect and ensure there is no damage of product during transport and ensure ESD (“Electrostatic Discharge”) control.

o Interface with managers and peers to resolve issues.

o Follow company safety procedures.

o Responsible to identify potential reject decisions using documentation, internal manufacturing work instructions and component specification sheets.

o Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials using precision measuring and vision inspection systems.

o Perform visual inspections employing vision inspection systems to detect surface defects or inconsistencies.

o Conduct quality audits on received materials to verify compliance with established standards.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

o ERP is reviewed for special packaging instructions.

o ERP is reviewed for correct revision and part number verifications.

o Check ERP system to match the data match to components/packing slips

o Identify Component markings and values

o Ability to measure components using multimeter

o Perform detailed inspections for suppliers FAI’s

o Ability to work under scope up to 30X Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within manufacturing environments.

o Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues.

o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.

o Ability to perform visual inspections using advanced inspection tools such as vision systems.

o Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with suppliers.

Experience:

o One year’s experience working in the electronic manufacturing service industry.

Technical:

o Ability to perform simple computer data entry.

o Ability to read and understand work order requirements.

Physical Effort:

o Standing and walking with some heavy lifting. Able to lift 15lbs+

Pay Range is based on experience - $18 - $22 per hour
