PD Lead: Accelerated Learning Program

Role Overview

The Professional Development Lead - Accelerated Learning Program will be responsible for designing and implementing an accelerated learning solution for students in existing classrooms who have learning gaps and require remediation. The role focuses on creating structured foundational learning interventions for Grades 5-8 and ensuring effective execution through strong team management and consistent data tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Design a remedial foundational learning program for Grades 5-8 leveraging ed-tech and online resources.
• Hire a team of teachers and volunteers to execute this program after school, on weekends, and during summer and winter school breaks.
• Manage the team of teachers and volunteers to ensure effective program execution.
• Evaluate the program through consistent data tracking.
Adapt strategies based on execution findings and program performance.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in teaching, ed-tech, or remedial education.
• Experience designing and implementing structured learning interventions for middle school grades.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teachers and/or volunteers.
• Experience working with assessment data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform strategy adjustments.
Familiarity with leveraging ed-tech platforms and online learning resources to support remediation.
