About the Data Center Facilities Engineer Internship Opportunity

Location

• Richardson, TX

Digital Realty is offering Data Center Facilities Engineer paid internship opportunities during the Summer of 2025. The internships will be 5 weeks in length with up to 40 hours work per week during daytime business hours. Interns will be paired with a supervisor in our Richardson, Texas location.

What you’ll do
During your internship you will experience:

• Intro by subject matter expert (SME) in HVAC, FLS, Electrical, Generator and Operations
• Job Shadowing for Preventive Maintenance and Re-active Evolution
• Job Shadowing with Lead Engineer, Operations Manager and Data Center Manager
• Perform rounds with DLR shadowing

What you’ll need

• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• Must be enrolled in a local college in a related program of study (HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, etc.) OR have been enrolled the previous semester and plan to continue in the program during the following semester OR have graduated from one of the listed programs within 4 weeks of start date.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
