Your Role:

As an After School Yoga Instructor, you’ll lead engaging yoga classes for students in grades K-5 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. You'll create a fun and supportive environment where kids can learn, express themselves, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Class Management:

• Energize and manage classes of 8-16 enthusiastic students aged 5-10.
• Teach yoga using provided lesson plans that keep kids engaged.

Training & Preparation:

• Attend a maximum of two-day unpaid training/shadowing session to familiarize yourself with our program.
• Transport and set up yoga equipment for each class.

Administrative Tasks:

• Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff as needed.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.

Capture the Fun:

• Snap photos of kids in action during sessions to showcase their progress!

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teaching or performing experience in yoga is preferred but not required.
• A genuine enjoyment of working with children and effective classroom management skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach are essential.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation throughout the Bay Area.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and be fully vaccinated.

Locations & Schedule:

• Classes are held at various elementary schools across the Bay Area.
• Classes run for 1 - 1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Work two or more days per week with a maximum of 2-5 hours weekly.
