The Pampered Peach Wax Spa is seeking a skilled and passionate Peachologist to join our team. The Peachologist will be responsible for providing professional waxing services to clients in a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waxing, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform waxing services on clients, including but not limited to facial waxing, body waxing, and Brazilian waxing.
• Conduct pre-service consultations with clients to discuss their needs and expectations, and recommend appropriate services and products.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Prepare clients for waxing services, including ensuring their comfort and privacy.
• Provide clients with aftercare instructions and recommend suitable products to help maintain results.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new waxing techniques to provide the best possible services.
• Maintain accurate and complete client records, including details of services provided and any special requirements.
• Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the salon or spa.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
• Support other team members and assist with salon or spa operations as needed.
• Manage retail sales of skincare products, cosmetics, and beauty tools to support clients’ ongoing skincare routines.

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in esthetics, cosmetology, or a related field is preferred.
• State licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in waxing, including Brazilian waxing and other advanced techniques.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality services.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques with a focus on skincare products and beauty tools.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse clients.
