We are seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations including businesses and residencies while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving and a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. This position requires a commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently to deliver products on time.
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as dollies.
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform minimum of 150 stops a day depending on daily volume.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Be able to safely lift/ carry up to 75 Lbs and up to 150 Lbs
• Have reliable transportation to and from work. Be punctual and ready to work.
• Be able to climb stairs.
• Be able to work in all kinds of weather.
• Have a positive attitude and a lot of initiative.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that arise during transit.
• Handle any customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Integrity is a must

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Pass a drug test
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass Fedex criminal background check
• 5-6 Workdays (including weekends)
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, particularly box trucks, is highly desirable, but not required.

Paid training will be provided that covers delivery route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
