We are a non-ABA, unique, therapist owned, outpatient pediatric enrichment center that provides SP/Feeding/OT/PT/, child and family therapy/counseling, along with incredible STEAM and language processing enrichment classes. Another integral and unique aspect to our center is our HUMMINGBIRD CHILDREN'S ACADEMY - a therapeutic program led by speech, OT, PT, Counseling with STEAM based enrichment and various specials.

Coming June 2026 Lisle Pediatric Aquatic Center (11,000sf) will join our other 3 state of the art designed clinics in Westmont, Woodridge and Elmhurst. Hummingbird Pediatric Centers are all professionally designed and have age-specific, multi-sensory gyms with all new equipment including a totally awesome magnetic 3D climbing wall! They boast a brand new, modern, mid-century vibe 2000sf therapist/team member lounge complete with kitchen, office, workspace and conference areas.

Due to incredible growth fueled by an extremely strong referral network based on trust and success with our children and families, we are seeking a part-full time team member to be on our administrative team and serve as a Child & Family Advocate and Intake Coordinator at our Elmhurst Pediatric Center. This dream individual could either be a developmental therapist or case manager or have a degree in child psychology or sociology. It could also be a great position for an kid loving individual that has worked in pediatrics either in a medical office or school. Experience in developmental pediatrics is a must along with an obvious affection of children and the positive energy and drive to collaborate with our experienced team of dedicated pediatric therapists. Must also possess exceptional multi-tasking skills and embody a patient/family centered focus.

We help children from birth on up with a variety of diagnosis including torticollis, genetic disorders, ASD, auditory processing, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Visual-Spatial, prematurity, failure to thrive, CP, developmental delays and many others. We offer a number of evidenced-based practices including NDT, DMI, Social Thinking Curriculum, PROMPT technique, Listening Therapy, Sensory Integration, SOS Feeding, Hippotherapy, Aquatic Therapy and Interactive Metronome, soft serial casting, splinting, pelvic floor. Our Team members LOVE of thinking outside the box is fully supported by ownership and our team has fun collaborating with each other. We enjoy electronic medical records and billing and strong office support so that our therapists can concentrate on what they love doing…helping our kiddos!
