Immediate Opening – Pediatric Dental Assistant (High Priority Hire)

Our growing pediatric dental practice in Charlotte, NC is actively hiring a Dental Assistant II (DA II) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with pediatric experience.

This is a Full time position, no weekends offering excellent work-life balance in a positive, child-focused environment.

We are seeking a skilled, energetic assistant who is confident working with children and committed to delivering compassionate, efficient clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during pediatric dental procedures
• Take dental radiographs (NC X-ray certification required)
• Administer Nitrous Oxide monitoring (N2O certification required)
• Perform coronal polishing (certification required)
• Provide patient and parent education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure infection control and operatory readiness
• Support efficient patient flow in a high-volume pediatric setting

Requirements (NC Compliance Required)

• Current North Carolina Dental Assistant II (DA II) OR CDA
• NC Radiography Certification (Required)
• Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification (Required)
• Coronal Polishing Certification (Required)
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with children and parents
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
