open our doors soon! Positiviteeth Pediatric Dentistry exists to challenge the
narrative of dental care being an unpleasurable experience characterized by
discomfort, pain and fear. Instead, we present an enjoyable care experience
that is positive and uplifting for our patients and their families. We have fun

Positiviteeth is establishing a legacy as the FIRST pediatric dental office to ever exist in

Position Overview

Positiviteeth Pediatric Dentistry is searching for a Pediatric Dental Assistant who brings joy, warmth, and genuine friendliness to every interaction. As one of the predominant team members our patients will work with, you will often be the best part of our patients’ day.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
1. Having fun while you are at work!
2. Advocating for the best service to our patients and fostering a genuinely positive, friendly dental experience for the families we serve
3. Presenting Treatment Plans
4. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures
5. Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory in an organized, timely manner
6. Assisting doctors during procedures, always prioritizing the comfort and safety of young patients
7. Aiding in patient behavior guidance by offering encouragement and reassurance to every child in your care
8. Providing direct clinical care to patients during hygiene visits (coronal polishing)
9. Charting and maintaining accurate patient records
10. Preparing patients for dental treatment
11. Taking radiographs using gentle techniques
12. Cleaning dental operatories in accordance with state and federal infection control guidelines
13. Educating families on oral health using creative and enthusiastic communication that makes learning about oral hygiene fun.
14. Assisting with other tasks as directed, always bringing a helpful, collaborative spirit.
Required Qualifications
Dental practice experience is ideal but not required. No matter what level of dental experience or knowledge you have, will receive individualized training to help you thrive and feel confident in your ability to serve our patients!
· Dental Assistant Certification preferred, along with a true interest or experience in pediatric dentistry
· X-Ray Certification (Preferred but can be obtained after employment)
· Experience working with children in dental, medical, childcare, or volunteer settings is highly valued
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an upbeat, friendly approach to both children and parents
· Character traits that are essential to working with children and patients with special needs: Patience, flexibility, friendliness, creativity, and a positive, can-do attitude
· Ability to multitask and adapt to the dynamic, joyful energy of a pediatric office
· Proficiency with technology
· An unwavering commitment to safety and care
· Team-oriented mindset, eager to contribute to a lively, supportive atmosphere where everyone works together to make a difference

Work Hours:
4 weekdays/week 8a – 430p. No weekend workdays required.
