Pediatric Dental Assistant/ Front office Float Position

Full-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant

$500 Sign-On Bonus Offered

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties

  • Provide exceptional patient care in a pediatric setting
  • Review and prepare patient charts
  • Set up treatment rooms and trays for procedures
  • Seat and prepare patients for treatment
  • Assist the doctor during procedures
  • Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
  • Take radiographs
  • Perform coronal polishing and sealant placement (with certification)
  • Follow strict infection control protocols
  • Sterilize instruments, handpieces, and treatment rooms
  • Pour and trim models; assist with lab work
  • Maintain and monitor dental equipment
  • Stock treatment rooms and order supplies

Administrative & Front Office Support

(We are willing to train candidates without front office experience!)

  • Answer incoming calls (maintaining excellent phone etiquette)
  • Schedule appointments and new patients with exceptional customer service
  • Return messages promptly
  • Greet, check in, and check out patients as needed
  • Support the financial coordinator when necessary
  • Promote the practice and help welcome new patients

Requirements

  • Previous dental assisting experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and dental software (Dentrix experience is a plus)
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to handle patient questions and concerns with kindness and professionalism

Position Details

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday
  • No weekends
  • $500 Sign-On Bonus
