Pediatric Dental Assistant (Part time)

We are a friendly, patient-centered pediatric dental practice in Hyannis seeking a dental assistant to join our team on Mondays from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.

This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time work in a supportive, well-run office that values kindness, teamwork, and professionalism. While the current opening is for Mondays only, there may be opportunities for increased hours in the future as our practice grows.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families and takes pride in helping create a calm, positive dental experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Help children feel comfortable during visits
• Support patient flow and maintain an organized clinical environment
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Assistant preferred
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
• X-ray certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working with children of all ages
