At Dentistry for Children, we are looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant who enjoys helping children succeed — even when the moment is challenging.

This is a position for someone who:

• Stays calm when a child is anxious
• Speaks kindly and confidently to children and parents
• Moves efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Supports teammates without being asked
• Finds joy in small victories (like a child who was scared last visit but smiles this time)

If you prefer a slow, quiet clinical environment, pediatric dentistry may not be the right fit.

But if you enjoy energy, teamwork, and making a real difference in children’s lives, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor during pediatric procedures
• Support behavior guidance and patient comfort
• Take radiographs as permitted by licensure
• Maintain sterilization and infection control
• Prepare treatment rooms
• Provide post-op instructions to parents
• Help maintain efficient patient flow

Qualifications

• Current TSBDE Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
• CPR for healthcare providers with AED (BLS)
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus but not required
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Pay is dependent of experience, as well as expanded duties certifications.
