Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. You will be expected to perform a variety of dental procedures, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform various dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Provide pediatric dentistry services, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and office staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including medical imaging and dental fabrication.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and general dentistry is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
- Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited university, accompanied by an active state license in good standing.
- At least 1-2 years of Clinical Experience post-residency, preferred. Select positions open to new grads!

Pay: $200,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year
