Job Summary
Well-established Pediatric Dental Practice, serving the Germantown community for over 13 years is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry and be skilled in providing comprehensive dental care to children of all ages.

This role requires a commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both children and their parents. The Pediatric Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring a positive experience for our young patients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status and treatment needs.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including preventive care, restorative treatments, dental extractions, pulpotomy and ssc.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic environment.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuous education and training.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry with a focus on patient care and assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with children and parents.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $130.00 - $170.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
