Overview:
Seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to children and adolescents, including patients with special healthcare needs. This role emphasizes family-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver preventive and restorative dental care for pediatric patients.
• Perform procedures including pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, extractions, and composite restorations.
• Administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia per state regulations.
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental and medical teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and IDFPR standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach.

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited dental school.
• Completion of CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency.
• Active Illinois dental license; DEA/Controlled Substance licenses.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry.
• CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred).
• 3+ years pediatric dental experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
