Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with significant experience in pediatrics to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric dental services, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive care tailored to children’s needs
• Perform oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and manage complex cases with precision and care
• Utilize advanced dental technology including medical imaging and dental fabrication techniques to diagnose and treat effectively
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Conduct patient assessments, interpret dental terminology, and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
• Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance patient comfort
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and detailed notes on procedures performed, ensuring compliance with all legal standards
• Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and treatment options in a clear, friendly manner
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry practices through ongoing professional development

Experience

• Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment specializing in pediatrics or general dentistry with pediatric focus
• Demonstrated proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for managing patient records and medical documentation
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to pediatric patients along with medical terminology related to oral health conditions
• Familiarity with infection control procedures, sterilization techniques, and aseptic protocols in a clinical setting
• Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other restorative procedures for children. Experience with general anesthesia is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with young patients and their families while maintaining professionalism and empathy
• Certification or training in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to grow within the specialty

Pay: $176,235.27 - $212,240.31 per year
