Pediatric Dentist

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Pediatric Dentist to provide excellent oral health care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice dentistry in CA and either board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric dentistry. You will deliver high-quality, child-centered dental care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental exams, cleanings, preventive treatments, and restorative procedures for pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions specific to children and adolescents.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each child.
• Educate parents and caregivers on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Administer appropriate behavior guidance techniques for children.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other specialists as needed.
• Stay current with developments in pediatric dentistry and evidence-based practices.

Minimum Qualifications

✔ Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
✔ Completion of an accredited pediatric dental residency program.
✔ Current, unrestricted State Dental License to practice in [CA].
✔ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dentistry (e.g., American Board of Pediatric Dentistry).
✔ Strong clinical skills with a focus on child-friendly care.
✔ Excellent communication skills with children, families, and team members.
✔ CPR/BLS certification (if required by the practice).

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to work with patients with special healthcare needs.
