Pediatric Dentist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dental practice in Washington Heights, NY. The position is part-time with opportunity to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role requires a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in modern dental technologies. The Dentist will work in a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering high-quality dental services with a focus on patient comfort and care.

Duties

• Perform examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative procedures
• Provide preventive care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education on oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Stay current with the latest developments in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry techniques when treating young patients.
• Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to promote informed decision-making.

Experience

• DDS or DMD degree
• NYS Dental License
• Certificate of completion of Pediatric Dental Residency from an ADA accredited program
• Proven experience working in a dental office environment is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
