Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist Associate to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis, upon further discussion. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children, possess excellent clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality dental care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing practice with a diverse patient population and supportive colleagues. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across both our modern facilities in Falls Church and Fairfax, contributing to our mission of fostering healthy smiles from a young age.

Responsibilities:

  • Help kids and their parents to develop excellent habits in oral health.
  • Lead an engaged team of dental professionals.
  • Provide diagnosis and comprehensive professional dental treatment plans to your patients to help them achieve optimal oral health, using accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
  • May arrange for referral to dental specialists when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
  • Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).

Qualifications:

  • A passion for improving kids’ oral health.
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program
  • Active dental license in the state of Virginia
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric dentistry preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact positively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry.

Pediatric Dentist Typical Day

  • Operative:
  • Approx. 7 operative patients
  • SSCs, NuSmile anterior crowns, and composite restorations
  • Space maintainers
  • Extractions
  • Protective stabilization
  • Nitrous Oxide administration
  • Emergency visits
  • Sedation Dentistry:Primarily NO, OCS, behavior management, with the potential for limited GA days.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,400.00 per day
