Pediatric Dentistry Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EDDA)

We are adding a Dental Assistant to our team this summer. We are a Pediatric Dentistry office in Mandeville and are dedicated to being the very BEST for our patients. We have an outstanding team and are looking to add to it as we continue to grow.

• This person must be hardworking, positive, a great team player, and be an individual with integrity.
• Duties:
• * Greet patients and walk them to the exam room * Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment * Prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient * Obtain patients' dental records * Provide support to the dentist by working alongside them during dental procedures * Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare * chair side assistant for the dentist for dental treatment for children * Take dental x-rays, prophies, fluoride application * Convey and confirm treatment plans with all patients * Escort patients to the front desk after their appointment
