Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team, providing evidence-based mental health care to pediatric clients. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and evidence-based practices

  • Provide individual and family therapy using modalities such as CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy

  • Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization support as needed

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards

  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development

  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Active LMHC, LPC, LCSW license in the state of New York, in good standing

  • Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents (pediatric experience required)

  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families in a home setting

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapy services (pediatric experience preferred)

  • Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred
