Pediatric Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LPC, LCSW) to join our growing team at Homeside Rehab. As a Pediatric Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide evidence-based mental health care to pediatric and adolescent clients in their homes, primarily located in the Bronx, NY. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, including psychosocial history, symptoms, and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and evidence-based practices
- Provide individual and family therapy using modalities such as CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Active LMHC, LCSW, LPC license in the state of New York, in good standing
- Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents (pediatric experience required)
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families in a telehealth setting
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapy services (pediatric experience preferred)
