Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Independent Pediatric practice currently looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our busy and well-respected practice in Abingdon, VA. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside our 2 board certified pediatricians with the opportunity to build your own patient base.

We are a small group practice that has been established since 2011. Our practice provides a full scope of outpatient primary care services to pediatric patients aging from birth to 18 years of age, including but not limited to:

• Sick visits, including limited on-site lab testing
• Well child visits
• Immunizations
• Behavioral health services
• Sports Physicals

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN and PNP licensure in Virginia
• Board certification as a NP in Pediatrics, or actively working towards certification
• Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with medical partners
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
• Experience in a Pediatric setting preferred
