Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team this coming summer. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive pediatric care, focusing on promoting health, preventing illness, and managing acute and chronic conditions in children from infancy through adolescence. Your expertise will help ensure our young patients receive compassionate, high-quality medical attention in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients, including vital signs, developmental milestones, and health histories.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, utilizing advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up strategies.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance pediatric healthcare practices and contribute to quality improvement projects.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems (Medent) for seamless documentation.
  • Knowledge of medical coding systems such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) for accurate billing and documentation.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms to deliver remote consultations effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration within busy clinical settings.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
