Pediatric or Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric or Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our pediatric patients, ensuring their health and well-being through comprehensive assessments, treatments, and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in various medical settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and preventive care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Manage acute conditions and provide triage services.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

• New graduates as well as experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with children in a clinical or medical office setting is essential.
• Familiarity with pediatric-specific procedures such as suturing, wart removal etc...
• Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) and documentation practices is required.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems for patient management.

Job Types: Full-time, Per diem

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
