Children's Therapy Services of Colorado, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic (ST, OT, PT, and ABA) located in Northglenn, CO. We offer both in-clinic therapy and in-home Early Intervention services. Our dedicated team is united by a shared passion for helping children thrive. Position:
We are seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team. The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate and treat children—from infancy through early adolescence—diagnosed with various congenital, developmental, neurological, or acquired disorders/delays. The ideal candidate will create and implement personalized treatment plans to help children improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall physical function to support participation in play, learning, and daily routines.
This position requires creativity, adaptability, and a strong foundation in child development and motor learning, along with excellent communication skills and a family-centered approach. The role will be based in our Northglenn clinic and may include in-home visits for children aged 0–3 as part of Colorado’s Early Intervention program.
Key Responsibilities:
· Evaluate and treat children with developmental, neuromuscular, and orthopedic conditions.
· Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions in both individual and group settings.
· Educate and support families in strategies to promote progress and carryover of skills at home.
· Develop treatment plans focused on gross motor development, balance, coordination, strength, postural control, mobility, and functional movement.
· Use play-based and task-oriented approaches to support motor milestones and independence.
· Collaborate closely with our in-house interdisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, BCBAs) and with pediatricians, educators, and case coordinators.
· Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports.
· Participate in Early Intervention services and contribute to the development of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
· Remain up to date with research and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
Required License and Certification:
· Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
· Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
· CPR and First Aid Certification (required by start date).
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience working with pediatric populations, including children with diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, developmental delays, torticollis, and genetic conditions.
· Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with children, families, and team members.
· Ability to tailor therapy techniques to each child’s unique needs and goals.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic pediatric environment.
· Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required.
· Experience with Early Intervention and home-based services is a plus.
Compensation:
$80,000 – $100,000+ (no cap)

Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
· Daily interaction with children ages birth to 18, including those with physical, behavioral, or sensory needs.
· Frequent movement throughout the day including lifting, squatting, floor-based work, and using therapy equipment such as therapy balls, gait trainers, and balance tools.
· Ability to lift and assist infants and young children as needed.
· Must be able to respond quickly to physical needs or emergencies.
· Exposure to active play environments and variable noise levels.
· Occasional travel between clinic and home-based sessions.
· Adherence to infection control procedures and health safety guidelines.
Allergen Exposure Considerations:
· Possible exposure to food allergens during home visits or snack times.
· Interaction with common materials (e.g., foam, latex, cleaning supplies) that may cause allergic reactions.
· Potential for environmental allergens (e.g., pet dander) during in-home visits.
· Employees must adhere to hygiene and allergy protocols to ensure safety for all.
