Pediatrician

Job Summary
Alpha Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated and friendly Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join our team. This role includes outpatient pediatric care requiring a strong foundation of pediatric knowledge and clinical competence. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their health and well-being through clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and effective communication. We are looking for a compassionate physician who enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive outpatient environment while maintaining high standards of quality care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, developmental disorders, and behavioral health issues.
• Develop individualized care plans incorporating immunizations, preventive care, and health education tailored to patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Communicate clearly with families and collaborate with clinical and administrative staff.
• Participate in shared on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Valid Texas medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Current DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous quality improvement.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with patients, families, and staff.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
